Chanakya IAS Academy in Delhi Introduction: In 1993, Chanakya IAS Academy was founded. Its head office is at Satya Niketan, Benito Juarez Marg., opposite Venky College in New Delhi. Mr. A. K. Mishra (Success Guru) is the Managing Director (MD) of the institute. The rank of the coaching institute is at top 2. Quora: Positive: Sheetal Taran (7th December 2017): Mr. A. K. Mishra took orientation classes for the first one month. He impressively motivated the students preparing for IAS/UPSC/CSE exams. Sheetal joined the institute after her friend’s recommendation. Then, she was working full-time. She had to skip study plans but, got support from teachers who clarified doubts. Missed classes were rearranged and extra classes were held for completing the syllabus on time. The mock tests and interviews help in preparing too. Gaurav Maurya (2nd August 2017): Institute’s name is after the famous ancient Indian thinker, politician, nationalist and architect. The philosophy - “everyone is born to succeed” drives the institute to produce successful officers every year. Success Guru motivates students and teachers to prepare for CSE in Hindi and English medium. He provides individual attention to every student. Both students and teachers are always in a competitive attitude. Students learn coursework. Also, they get trained in soft skills, thought, feeling and expressions from expert civil servants. Himanshi Goel (28th June 2016): Provides “valued education” even though the younger teachers have yet to complete their exams. Lucky students end up with well-experienced faculties. Additional to lessons, students get training through social works, tours, treks, and others. Negative: Rahul Gautam (15th November 2016): While researching on the institute, he came across several advertisements and untrue stories. The counselor explained the details of the UPSC syllabus (coursework, breakups and optional courses). Thereafter, the counselor was ready to take the non-refundable fees. Classes vary from 2-6 weeks. Students cannot inquire about teachers who may or may not have cleared the exam. The institute gets rid of good teachers wanting promotions. New candidates have to join batches that have finished most of the syllabus. With only a few good teachers and poor discipline, it is difficult to accept that over 3000 are selected every year. Facebook Reviews: Maneesh Dev Mehta (12th August 2015): “The institute is doing great”. He has known it since 1999. Google reviews Gyaani Keeda: It is one of the popular coaching institutes for IAS and CSE preparations. It is known for Civil Service and IAS exams. Udit Sharma: Chanakya IAS Academy is “the torch bearer” where the motivator is Mr. A. K. Mishra (Success Guru). Every year, new candidates appear for prelims, mains, and interviews for CSE/IAS. The students’ excel and succeed well with a happy ending. The institute provides all that every student requires from beginning to end to succeed later on. Students of Chanakya IAS academy clear all examinations. Also, they like the way they are later trained here. The students’ personalities are also molded to succeed in life too. Nagesh Mahavadiya: Reported he is dissatisfied with the institute that does not provide a good quality of education. The reply from the institute addressed Nagesh requesting for student ID, batch and contact details to improve the status. Kapil Chettri: Attended Chanakya IAS Academy, South Delhi. The faculties are good but, management requires improvement. Also, the staffs are helpful, supportive and friendly. The study atmosphere was not too good.
