What do we understand by Pharma?

The full form of Pharma is Pharmacy. Whenever we find any cure for a disease then this Pharmacy has a really big role in researching and testing it before it is available for the treatment. The medicine which is included to diagnose the cause of disease and then, treatment for eradication of the disease or to simply prevent it from growing in the environment; as we all are aware of the fact that day by day these Pharmacists are becoming an important and integral part of the healthcare industry for this and making the society of sector a success. It is a major or main segment of the Industry of healthcare and it is contributing with research in the medicinal drugs as well as for the development, manufacturing, and supplying medications in the Market.

Pharmacy practitioners are the one who understands medicines and used to majorly work in the research and development of the pain drugs also work on the medical complications by alteration of the drugs. It is the role of the practitioners to check for quality and control as per the rules and regulations of the Council of Pharmacy. The sector of Pharmacy is divided into numerous segments including hospital or clinical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, and Pharmacy Regulators, etc.

Pharmacy Practitioners are required to have a diploma or degree in the field of Pharmacy.

It is defined as a basic level certificate program which involves the study of basic level education about Pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Pharmacy

This course is for those candidates who have completed their higher secondary education i.e. 10+2 with subject combination of either Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There could also be minimum marks criteria mentioned by the Institute or University or any College offering this course.

Basic Skills required for B. Pharmacy

List of skills which are required for a Pharmacist are as follows:

  • These candidates should have excellent command over English.
