Doctor in Emergency Medicine: It is a tedious job and is equipped with certain important job responsibilities:

  • Assess patients that enter the emergency room right away and supervise emergency patient’s recovery.

  • Conduct follow-up visits to check and update the patient’s condition.

  • Request the appropriate medical tests, analyze and follow a treatment plan.

  • Develop applicable and improved patient care plans.

  • Refer patients to the right specialists.

  • Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the department for continuous evaluation.

  • Provide directions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.

  • Complete and update the patient’s medical records.

  • Coordinate with various other specialists and Emergency Room departments to make sure patients receive the mandatory treatment.

  • The precise division of responsibilities between the Consultants in Emergency Medicine is divided between the Consultant, the Clinical Director, and the CEO/GM, or their appropriate delegate.

  • Responsible for the assessment and immediate care of all Emergency Care patients. This might be delivered personally or by supervising additional clinical staff.

  • Responsible for the care of patients admitted under guidance. 

  • To undertake essential supporting duties for clinical care, including risk management and vital incident investigation.

  • To make sure that duties and functions are undertaken to minimize delays for patients and possible disruption of services.

Critical Care Worker:

  • Perform independently and assist in procedures as per the clinical privileges authorized.

  • Assess all patients and work along with the Senior Consultants, thereby presenting the patient care plan, diagnosis, illness, and treatment outcomes.

  • They update about any changes in the patient treatment status.

  • Support and serve up for various functional activities.
