The candidate should have passed the 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB stream) as main subjects with at least 50% marks and English as a mandatory subject.
The minimum age limit to apply for admission is 18 years and the max limit is 25 years. (Further relaxation of one year for the reserved category candidates)
You have to obtain a good NEET score.
Earlier, the Veterinary Council of India was conducting the All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT). This test is essentially conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) course. This exam has 3 hours duration and comprises 180 objective type questions from the PCB stream. This exam has been replaced by NEET, from 2017. Hence, the aspirants have to pass the NEET exam to gain admission to Veterinary science courses.
