There are usually three standard rounds for admission application in Canadian Institute. You have to start with Round 1 and each round has a different requirement. Some institutes have four rounds, and even and ‘early-bird’ round for people.
An important point to note is that each round has a deadline, and the application will only be reviewed after the deadline. So, there is no benefit to applying earlier than the deadline. Early-bird type rounds also have a deadline date that is required to be followed.
The round application takes months to qualify for and may take an entire year in some cases. However, if you pass the first round, it means that you can easily apply for Visa and other formalities and start accumulating funds to study MBA in Canada. This is the primary benefit of round application, and as you pass other rounds, you will grow to have adequate confidence and you will have sufficient time to prepare for each round in advance. Hence, it is very convenient for students overall.
Rolling Applications
There is an option of rolling applications for the students that do not want to apply via the traditional round process. Several institutes employ this method to offer ease to other ambitious students who fail to learn about the round process and could not participate for one reason or another. Rolling Applications is where you submit your application with a forum and all the essential documents to the university and they will review it within four to six weeks. You will receive your answer after that. It is a great asset to use, especially during slow seasons for universities if you are seeking to get an admission. However, some strict Universities do not accept rolling admissions, or usually require strong reasoning behind rolling admission. There may not be enough seats available at times, as well. Since rolling applications are sudden, if you get accepted, you may have to rush Visa and other processes. Best way to prepare for rolling applications is by getting all the documents, including Visa, ready beforehand.
