IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. The IELTS test assesses a candidate on 4 English skills – English Writing, English Listening, English Speaking, and English Reading. The total test duration is 2 hours and 45 minutes. While the speaking section can be completed one week before or after the test, the listening, reading and writing sections are to be completed on the test day itself.
