Duration of the MBBS course in medical colleges in the UK

To become a qualified doctor in UK, you need to complete the MBBS program which lasts for 5 years. The graduate degree program lasts for four to five years. This involves basic clinical medical training. After graduation, the medical aspirants enter their two-year foundation course. The foundation course involves one year of practical training for MBBS in U.K. After completing the foundation program, the medical aspirants can opt for a medical specialization course that lasts for a minimum two years and go up to 7 years. The Dental medical courses are 5 years duration program.
