MBBS in Germany may last from 6 years to 7.5 years. This duration includes an internship of 1-1.5 years.
A regular MBBS course is for six years and three months. MBBS in Germany may take seven years and three months. It is due to the reason; the student has to spend about one year extra to get proficiency in the German language.
The candidate should be at least 17 years on 31 December on the year of admission in medical college.
Twenty-five years is the maximum age for applying in medical college, Germany, for MBBS.
The applicant must have 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in the 12th standard.
The minimum percentage requirement for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 40% in the 12th standard.
Candidate should qualify for the NEET exam. A minimum of 60% of marks is must in NEET examination to pursue MBBS in abroad.
The medium of instruction should be English at the school level.
There is no requirement of IELTS or TOEFL, but proficiency in English is a must. The candidate should be able to read, write, and understand English.
For admission in a medical college of Germany, the candidate must possess the following documents and certificates:
Age proof: The candidate can provide a copy of a birth certificate or 10th board exam admit card as the age proof.
Character certificate: the candidate is required to submit a copy of the character certificate signed by an authorized person.
Academic certificates: 10th class mark sheet, 12th class mark sheet, and transfer certificate from the school.
Nationality certificate: if the candidate is not a resident of Germany, he/she has to provide a copy of the front page of the passport.
Passport-sized photos: recent passport size photos for academic records.
Health certificate: Candidate has to submit a complete medical checkup certificate from the medical authority.
