NMAT exam involves two parts. The first part is the Aptitude Test. This part measures the mental ability of candidates. It features 200 MCQs questions divided into four different sections: Verbal, Inductive Reasoning, Quantitative, and Perceptual Acuity. This part of the test has a duration of three hours. Part I is trickier among both of the Parts. It essentially relies on the aptitude of the candidate. This part needs practice since you did not study most of it in your school or college, unlike the academic subjects that are involved in Part II.

Tip: The solitary way to obtain outstanding aggregate in Part I is to practice answering as many questions as you can. Usually, most of the candidates focus on Part II, so it will give you an edge over them if you outscore them in Part I. After all, NMAT is based on percentile ranking, not on your raw scores.

On the other side, the second of the exam measures the candidate's knowledge in the domain of basic sciences. This part includes 200 MCQs from four subject areas that are considered to be the most crucial ones for the individuals preparing for medical education. These four subjects are Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Social Science. This part has a duration of two hours and fifteen minutes.
