Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, located in Jerusalem, Israel, is the country's oldest institution of higher education dedicated to art and design. Founded in 1906 by Boris Schatz, Bezalel is highly recognized for its emphasis on combining the artistic traditions of Europe, the Middle East, and Jewish culture.
