Studying at ICMS is more than just lectures and exams — it’s a full experience, and one that happens in a truly unique setting. The main campus is in Manly, perched on a hill overlooking the beach and surrounded by nature. It literally feels like you’re studying at a castle by the sea.
The campus is not only beautiful but also vibrant. You’re surrounded by students from all over the world, which creates a friendly, inclusive, and multicultural vibe from day one. Whether you're heading to class, grabbing coffee, or catching up with friends on the lawn — there’s always a relaxed but professional energy.
ICMS puts a big focus on community and connection. There are student clubs, social events, and cultural activities running throughout the semester. Orientation Week is your first intro to campus life, and it's packed with fun activities to help you settle in and make friends.
You can join everything from sports teams and leadership groups to entrepreneurship clubs and event planning societies. The college even hosts themed parties, beach BBQs, and networking nights — it’s a solid mix of fun and career-focused events.
Classes are small and personal, which means your lecturers know your name and you’re encouraged to speak up, ask questions, and collaborate. The style is very practical — case studies, group projects, real-life simulations, and most importantly, industry training.
Every student at ICMS completes a professional internship, so your education is tied directly to the job market. You won’t just graduate with theory — you’ll graduate with experience.
Living in Manly means you get the best of both worlds: a peaceful, beachside lifestyle with cafes, markets, and surf — and only a 30-minute ferry ride to Sydney CBD. On weekends, you can go kayaking, hiking, or just relax at the beach with your classmates.
If you’re studying at the ICMS city campus, you’ll be in the heart of Sydney, surrounded by public transport, shops, part-time job opportunities, and global business districts — perfect for students balancing study and work.
ICMS takes international student support seriously. From the moment you arrive, you’re guided through visa support, orientation, and academic workshops. There are career advisors, counselors, and a student success team available to help with whatever you need — from study help to adjusting to life in Australia.
Many students at ICMS work part-time during their studies, and the college supports this with resume workshops, job boards, and interview coaching. The internships you do during your degree often open doors to job offers after graduation.
Life at ICMS is fun, professional, diverse, and incredibly scenic. Whether you're walking to class with an ocean view or attending an industry networking night, it’s the kind of place that helps you grow academically, socially, and professionally.
ICMS integrates professional internships into every degree program, meaning:
You must complete an internship (600–1,200 hours) as part of your Bachelor’s or Master’s course.
It’s not optional — it’s part of the curriculum and a core reason why ICMS graduates are so employable.
This real-world experience gives students a major edge when applying for jobs post-graduation.
ICMS partners with 1,000+ industry companies across Australia and globally. Students have interned or been employed at:
Hyatt, Hilton, Four Seasons
IBM, Qantas, LVMH
Marriott Hotels, Accor Group
Coca-Cola, PWC, Deloitte
City of Sydney, NSW Government
Event companies, tourism boards, marketing agencies, property firms, and more
Many students receive job offers from the same companies they intern with.
Over 90% of ICMS graduates are employed in their field within 6 months of completing their degree.
High employer satisfaction due to the practical skills ICMS students bring to the table.
Many graduates land jobs in management, marketing, hospitality leadership, tourism strategy, sports administration, and real estate.
ICMS supports your career goals with:
One-on-one career coaching
CV/resume and cover letter reviews
Mock interviews and job search assistance
Industry networking events and employer visits
Alumni mentorship programs
After graduating from ICMS, international students are eligible to apply for the Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485):
Gives you 2 to 4 years of full work rights in Australia
Lets you build your career locally after completing your degree
ICMS students often say their internship helped them:
Understand the local job market
Build a professional network
Gain confidence and practical skills
Secure a graduate job much faster
This means ICMS is moderately selective and generally welcoming to international students who meet the academic and English language entry requirements.
Focus on International Students:
ICMS is highly internationalized, with students from over 40 countries. Their admissions process is designed to be accessible and supportive.
Clear Entry Requirements:
If you meet the academic and English proficiency standards, your chances of receiving an offer are very good.
