About: University of Waterloo-Barbara Hayes-Roth Award for Women in Math and Computer Science:
A scholarship valued at a minimum of $1,200 will be provided annually to female graduate students registered full time in a Master’s or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Mathematics based on demonstrated academic excellence (normally 80% cumulative average in their current program).
Preference will be given to students in Computer Science.
This fund is made possible by David Ash, BMath ‘87 to support a future female generation of excellence in graduate studies and research.
