About: University of Waterloo-IESO Undergraduate Engineering Award:
An award, valued at $4,000, is granted annually to a female undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two of Electrical, Computer or Nanotechnology Engineering. Students will have demonstrated strong communication skills, leadership skills, involvement in extracurricular activities, and will have maintained a minimum B average (75%) in 1A and 1B.
The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada upon graduation.
IESO may also offer the award recipient consideration for a work-term position at their offices upon completion of Year Two and if accepted she will have to be eligible to work in Canada.
