About University

De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute is a private nonprofit higher education institute located in Dasmariñas City. It is committed to forming future health science and medical professionals who will have the dedication and commitment to become catalysts of the country's social, economic, and spiritual transformation. It was established in 1979 as a nonsectarian tertiary school. It provides a holistic and excellent education and research service. It has three service divisions: an academic division that consists of a senior high school and colleges, De La Salle University Medical Center, which is a teaching hospital, and Angelo King Medical Research Center, which is a research facility. It was started by doctors from the College of Medicine of the Philippines. All the divisions of DLSHI have a common mission, which is "nurturing health, nurturing potentials, nurturing communities, nurturing discoveries and nurturing your spirit."The university is a member of the De La Salle Philippines System. It is a coeducational institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.

The institute focuses on enhancing the intellectual aspect and spiritual aspects, making the students even more religious. PAASCU has granted this institute's Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology program Level 1 Accreditation.
