About University

Established in 1936, the Tver State Medical College offers high-level MBBS education. It ranks 235 among all the medical colleges in the country and 6132 in the world. To pursue MBBS in this college, the candidate must secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually. The candidate has to obtain qualifying marks at the national level NEET examination as well. The college is accredited and highly recognized by the MCI and the WHO. International students can study the MBBS course in English as well as in Russian Medium according to their convenience. Learning the Russian language during the course is a compulsory practice for all International students so that they can become much compatible with their patients during the practical sessions and during their internship. Student-friendly, centrally air-conditioned, and well-furnished hostels are available for the students opting to study in this college. The hostels are under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and are also guarded by the police, to ensure student safety. The rooms are available with two or three bedded sharing options along with an attached bathroom. The mess offers Indian food to the Indian students to make a homely environment.

University campus and accommodation

Tver State Medical University owns a huge complex that consists of buildings designed for lectures, auxiliary services, research work, practical classes, and laboratory studies. The University has a state-of-the-art library with comfortable seating spaces where you can read course-related books and journals. The classrooms are high-tech and spacious and have all the modern facilities for an effective teaching environment. It has over six thousand beds in ten hospitals, including hospitals for tuberculosis, skin, oncology, and sexually transmitted diseases.

The University has four hostels where more than one thousand eight hundred and forty students can be accommodated. Two hostels out of the four contain spacious rooms attached to the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen. The rooms are air-conditioned and fully furnished. Indian food is offered at the mess of the hostel to the students. All the hostels are guarded by the police and are under CCTV surveillance. The rooms are equipped with all the major amenities such as linens, beds, wardrobe, and chairs to make the students feel like being at their own home.
